Common faults and tips

The Galaxy S23 has a 6.1-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen and an ultrasonic fingerprint reader placed under the screen. For a screen replacement, this reader guides the choice: a compatible screen from the Standard range, often an LCD, can stop it working, while the Premium range offers a high-end compatible screen. After the repair, choose a thin screen protector, as Samsung states that a thick one can impair fingerprint reading. The phone charges via USB-C and its stated battery capacity is 3,900 mAh.
