Common faults and tips
The Galaxy A35 5G has a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED screen and an optical fingerprint reader under the screen, at the bottom centre. This matters before a screen replacement: a compatible screen from the Standard range, often an LCD, can prevent this reader from working, whereas the Premium range offers a high-end compatible screen. Samsung specifies that a thick or coloured screen protector can also hinder recognition. It charges through a USB-C port and the battery has a typical capacity of 5,000 mAh. Battery life that runs down quickly or sudden shutdowns, especially in the cold, are signs of wear. Its condition can be checked in Samsung Members via Support, Phone diagnostics and Battery status.
